Event Details:

A triathlon is a multi-sports event involving the completion of continuous and sequential endurance events. While many variations of the sport exist, passing different huddles in immediate succession over various distances. Triathletes compete for fastest overall course completion time.

Event involves Cycling, running, Running with tyreas, Wheel Barrow Race and eat TUC biscuits without water.

Equipment:

All the items will be provided by the host team.

Number of participants:  2 per team.

Registration fees: 150 Rs for NAC members and 200 Rs for regular participants.

Event Details:

One of the main attractions of the event is the paintball competition. 24 teams each consisting of 5 members and belonging to different universities and schools of NUST will go head to head for the crown. The event will take place at the BATTLE FIELD located at Lake View Park. The event will be on knockout basis.

Number of participants: 120 ( 5 per team).

Registration fees: 2000 Rs per team

Rules for RIFT:

 Participants will play with the rule of retrieve the flag and bullet limitations. Participants are advised to be at the venue on time, late arrivals will result in disqualifications.

Equipment:

All the safety equipment will be provided by the host.

Event Details:

One of the unique events of the Olympiad is the arm wrestling. In this event participants will compete in different categories. Separate competitions will take place for boys and girls. Major attraction for participants interested in indoor games will be this and around 50 students will participate. The event will take place in NUST H-12 lecture halls.

Arm wrestling table will be provided by the host team.

Event Details:

Around 20-30 teams of 5 members will use their skills to locate the hidden clues to win this segment of the Olympiad. Clues will be hidden throughout NUST H-12 campus and each team will be given a set of hints to locate those clues. The first team that come up with the most clues in the allotted time will be announced as winner.

Clues may lead toward some tasks that must be completed in order to check off a certain clue. Tasks may include taking pictures, waiting tables or collecting items etc.

Rules:

•  Participants must report on time before the game begins.
• They must complete the tasks within the alloted time, late sumisions will result in deduction of marks.
• Teams will be breifed before the event for further details.

Number of participants: 5 members per team.

Registration fees: 1000 Rs per team.

Event Details:

Participants in forms of teams will compete against each other to take the top position. The team wins by pulling on a rope and dragging the other team in their direction to a certain point. The event will take place at NUST H-12 ground.

Rules:

• No spiked footwear
• Gloves may be worn
• Overall pull to be 8 meters and winner is the team to pull their opposition 4 meters from the starting mark.
• No hand over hand pulling allowed. Team members must go back with rope when pulling.
• Anchorman to loop rope around one shoulder to secure rope. No knot is permitted on the rope end.
• All team members to remain on their feet at all times, no hands are persistently allowed on the ground apart from the anchorman who is permitted to use one hand on the ground.
• Teams through captains will be reminded of the rules prior to commencement of competition. Only captian can consult with the judge and the judge’s decision is final.
• A team member is permitted to pull for only one team during a competition.
• Prior to commencement of pull, judge will ask captain if they are ready, then give the command `take the strain`, at this point team members may heel in, when teams are balanced, order to `pull`, is given and the tie has commenced.
• Two warnings for infringements of the rules or inappropriate behaviour, including foul language, will be given. A further warning will result in disqualification.

Number of Participants: 5 members per team

Registration fees: 250 Rs for NAC members and 300 Rs for regular participants

Rules for RIFT

• Participants diving early before the whistle will be disqualified.
• Participants doing the stroke in a wrong manner will also be disqualified.
• The decision of the judges will be final
• Participants are advised to be on time as the event will strictly follow the time schedule

Equipment:

Participants are advised to bring their own costumes and accessories as no such assistance will be given by the event management.

Event Details:

One of the Most Adventurous Event of the Competition is Rock Climbing. All the equipment would be provided by the host. The event will take place at the Jasmine Gardens and will have a participation of approximately 80 students. Competition would be held in two categories:

• Male
• Female

Rules:

• Basically it would be a ‘Top rope’ speed rock climbing competition.
• First qualifying round with 4 minutes disqualifying time for boys and 8 minutes for girls.
• A bonus of -5 secs will be awarded to the one who will do a supplementary task provided.
• Participants will be disqualified upon using rope or any other gear (i.e: hooks anchored in rock).
• Upon qualifying the first round the participants will go to the final round.

Number of participants: Individual participation.

Registration fees: 200 Rs for NAC members and 250 Rs for regular members.

Event Details:

Trekking will take place at trail 3 on the Margalla Hills. Around 200 Individuals will compete for the first five positions. The participants with the best time will win.

Rules:

Use of fire lane is not allowed.

Any sort of short cuts are not allowed.

Every participants has to pass through the checkpoints on the track.

Any participant who fails to register at any of the checkpoints will not be entertained.

All participants are advised to be at the venue at time.

Equipment:

Participants are advised to bring water along with them. Water will also be provided by the host team.

Transportation from NUST university to the venue will be provided. 

Registration Fees: 200 Rs fro NAC members and 250 for regular members.
